I've been wearing this sandal for a number of years. I recently replaced a worn out pair. I will probably purchase a pair in black soon! My feet like are happy in them!Love love love this sandal. It's very difficult to find a good, stylish, comfortable leather sandal and this one checks all the boxes. It is so cute and very comfortable. Would buy again!!I didn't think I'd like, no, looove, this sandal as much as i do! Something seemed off w/the style, but it has a small heel & looked up to date, i figured I'd give it a try. It looks much better on than you'd think! Veryyy attractive on the foot/leg & super comfy with wonderful support! Sizing: I usually take 6.5 in an open sandal; The 6.5 fit perfectly, so I'd say very true to size, tho the heel is closed. Personally, I don't think this shoe suits a wide foot, cuz the insole is on the narrow side. Rarely I have needed a wide, but only due to narrowness at toes or on top of foot, but if this came in wide, it wud be too big. I tried the size 7 cuz back is closed, but while it fit technically, I had to go with the 6.5 as I got more security and stability with it, the 7 was a bit wobbly, so the top definitely does not run narrow or small, altho the insole is slightly on the narrow side. The support comes from the bands across the ankle- elastic- so it gives you a snug fit as required. It didn't look too supportive, they're so open, but oddly enough i feel extremely supported in them, which is very important for me. The front, which looked a little weird style-wise, somehow looks good on the foot. Whoever designed this sandal knew what they were doing, but then again, The Flexx generally does - i just discovered them. I wish they weren't so expensive (as in their line), but for the comfort, support & style i hope it'll pay off. just purchased so cant comment on wear 'n tear, but quality looks real good. The nubuck is deliciously soft.Although the heel is short (made of rubber like material), it doesn't appear flat, & definitely not old lady (which some may consider me - mid forties - no offense to older women). Have several colors in this stylish, trendy and super comfy shoe. ADORE!Bought these since my daughter had snapped her ankle 4 years ago prior to prom.. she wanted something dressy, no heel, glamorous, rubber heeled --- well guess what? These fit the bill. She has owned them ever since and has been to Europe in them, walking through NYC, on dates, with jeans and shorts and just heading out to the store.. job interviews, date nights, casual pre-COVID movie nights... they are like Jimmy Choo meet Merrill. She just bought her second pair that will stay in the box for probably another 4 years just in case they don't make them anymore... in the meantime the ones she have still look perfect, fit like sneakers, and still have tons of tread. Can't beat them. HIGHLY RECOMMENDI can either wear a size 6 1/2 or 7....depending on the brand of the shoe. I first ordered a size 6 1/2 and found it to be too snug on the toes....a little narrow. Sent them back and went with a size 7 and they fit perfectly!! I'm surprised with the comfort right off the bat, which usually takes a while to break them in....for me anyway. So far, I'm really happy with these shoes as I don't really like ordering shoes without trying them on first. The reviews were too good to pass up.I have had these sandals in silver for about three years and I wanted a fresh pair. Because it's an old style I was able to find my size in a subtle gold. Not every size or color is available but Amazon has the best selection out there. This shoe was so comfort that I could walk in it for miles without my bad ankle complaining! Even my physical therapist approves. And still cute with my sundresses.Second pair, I got it in black last year. In Flexx, the 6 is as close to a perfect fit as I've ever found for me. It's comfortable, looks sharp, doesn't leave the top of the foot exposed to the sun in the typical sandal pattern so reduces the obvious cross striping tan that comes with only wearing typical strap sandals. It's amazingly walkable. Not hard to get into, though I always use long handled shoe horn for ankle bands. I read review somewhere that the red left red dye streaks, I don't know about with sweat, but I had to leave work in a downpour the other night, had these on soaking wet as I gave coworkers who usually walk rides home and got home with no red dye on my feet. I let them dry with no special attention, tried them on and they still look and feel the same.
